Benefits
Landcom people enjoy several benefits in addition to working on leading edge and environmentally sound residential and commercial property development projects throughout New South Wales. Most Landcom staff are covered by the Landcom Award which provides for favourable working conditions and entitlements.
Parking and Transport
Our head office in Parramatta is centrally located and well serviced by public transport. There’s even readily available parking. Staff can apply for a payment advance, repayable through salary deductions, to purchase an annual public transport pass or annual cost of parking.
Flexible Working Arrangements
Demonstrating Landcom’s commitment to Work-Life balance, we offer a flexible approach to work, including hours of work, working from home, part-time work, job sharing, career breaks (all of which are subject to management approval, policy requirements, security and OH&S considerations).
Performance Development
Our managers and staff take a conversational approach in evaluating achievements and areas of development. We do this twice each year, culminating in a development plan that supports individual career aspirations and achievement of KPIs.
Training and Development
We place a high priority on the professional development of our people. To support individual development plans and refresh our thinking and skills, a variety of training and development programs are offered and run throughout the year.
Landcom MGSM Post-Graduate Certificate in Management
Offered in partnership with the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, this three-unit course provides professional development directly related to Landcom’s business. In 2011, 10% of staff are participating in the course, from all areas of the organisation.
Coaching and Mentoring
Landcom offers external coaching and mentoring to improve the performance and motivation of individuals and teams.
Study Assistance
Landcom assists staff undertaking pre-approved tertiary studies through reimbursement of paid fees on successful unit completion.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
We offer an independent service for professional advice and support as required for any personal or work-related problems. This confidential service is available to all Landcom staff and their immediate family members.
