Water Sensitive Urban Design
WSUD Maintenance Guideline | Stakeholder Feedback Survey
In 1999, Landcom first introduced WSUD strategies into one of our most strategic and urban redevelopments, Victoria Park.
The importance and significance of incorporating WSUD elements into the planning of Victoria Park resulted in Landcom formulating its WSUD Policy and mandating that all our projects have a WSUD strategy incorporated into the early design process. Landcom’s WSUD Policy was endorsed by the Landcom’s Board in 2004.
Now, 10 years on from the project at Victoria Park, we have gained considerable knowledge and experience from monitoring our projects and applying WSUD to both urban renewal and greenfield sites.
From this experience, we recently reviewed our WSUD strategy and are about to finalise each of it's components following a public exhibition period.
Originally, there were three booklets in the WSUD strategy - Policy and Targets; Planning and Management; and Case Studies - and we have just added a fourth booklet, Maintenance (Draft).
If you would like the WSUD strategy set when it is completed which will include final versions of the four documents listed below, or a copy of the DVD ‘Living with Water’ , or would like to discuss WSUD with Landcom, please contact (02) 9841 8600 or email.
